Mobile Product Review: Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX

When I am feeling lazy or too tire to perform my daily skincare regime (double serum and moisturizer) , I use this - Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX. Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX is one of my favorite sleeping mask since 2009.
I like its light gel texture, no sticky feeling when applying on my face. It gives intensive hydration to my face. The Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX is an improved version of sleeping mask, it has brightening effect to skin.
This is what I usually do when I open the cap of the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX. I spend a few seconds to enjoy its aroma scent,it helps to relieve my stress. Next, I take an appropriate amount and gently spread on my face. Then I go to get my beauty sleep. :D When I wake the next morning, skin is hydrated, smooth and bright.
I can follow the Face Relaxing Massage recommended by Laneige. But I am just too lazy to do it. :P

Its recommended to use the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX once or twice a week. However, I do use it up to 5 times a week.

My own little tips: If I want to achieve more hydration and crystal-clear complexion in the next morning, I will apply serum such as Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair or Cosme Decorte Moisture Liposome before applying Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX. The Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX also an essential skincare to bring when I go travelling.

The Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX is selling at a quite reasonable price, RM 100 /80ml. Give it a try if you are looking for an overnight mask pack or a sleeping mask.

Special Screening of The HBO Original Movie - Temple Grandin by The NASOM

Recently I just attended the Special Screening of The HBO Original Movie - Temple Grandin by the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) at TGV KLCC. Specially thanks to Amelia Ling for the invitations. This was an inspiration and touching movie I watched in my second half 2011.
The exclusive screening of the Emmy ®  and Golden Globe® Award winning HBO Original Movie, Temple Grandin at TGV KLCC by NASOM in association with HBO Asia was part of a continuous effort to advocate and educate the public on the need for early intervention for children with autism.

The corporate friend and supporters of NASOM were the guests invited to be the first to watch the preview of Temple Grandin before its premier on September 2, 10pm on HBO (Astro Ch 411)  or 11pm on HBO HD (Astro Ch 431).
What is Autism?
  • is a form of complex development disorder which generally can be identified within the first three years of a child's life.
  • is a lifelong development disorder that blocks the learning, language, communication, emotional and social development of a child.
A recent study on the incidence of autism in South Korea revealed a shocking 2.64% children or 1 in every 38 children have a disorder that can derail their development, according to Teh Beng Choon, Chairman of NASOM.

"The effort by the filmmakers , producers and everyone else involved in the making of the HBO Original Movie Temple Grandin is most commendable. We are most grateful to HBO Asia, for providing the film and initiating the Special Screening, and all our friends who have supported our work, for coming together and continuing to give us the motivation, encouragement and assistance to work with the autistic community to overcome the challenges that they face. We hope that we can make every one of our children "Temple Grandin"s, and become champions who can overcome any odds with dignity, " said Teh.

Jonathan Spink, CEO of HBO Asia said, " Temple Grandin echoes the importance of NASOM's efforts through the services they provide and we're delighted to work with NASOM in promoting their cause. We hope that through Temple Grandin, and through this special screening with NASOM, we will be able to help raise awareness about autism in Malaysia and that through early intervention, children with autism can achieve great things."

Alright, back to the inspiration and touching movie
- Temple Grandin.

Temple Grandin is a movie based upon the books Emergence, by Temple Grandin and Margaret Scariano, and Thinking in Pictures by Temple Grandin.
Staring Claire Danes, Catherine O'Hara, Julia Ormond and David Strathairn, Temple Grandin paints a picture of a young woman's perseverance and determination while struggling with the isolating challenges of autism at a time when it was still quite unknown. The HBO Original Movie chronicles Temple's early diagnosis; her turbulent growth and development during her school years; the enduring support she received from her mother, her aunt and her science teacher; and her emergence as a woman with an innate sensitivity and understanding of animal behavior. Undaunted by educational, social and  professional roadblocks, Temple turned her unique talent into a behavioral tool that revolutionized the cattle industry and laid the groundwork for her successful career as an author, lecturer and pioneering advocate for autism and autism spectrum disorder education.

This movie has won 7 Emmy ® , 1 Golden Globe® and  1 Screen Actors Guild Award. Temple Grandin was directed by four-time Directors Guild Award winner Mick Jackson from a screenplay by Christopher Monger and Writers Guild award winner William Merritt Johnson.

I highly recommend you all to watch this movie on HBO. I am going to watch this movie again! Don't miss the premiere of Temple Grandin!
Its on tonight, 10pm on HBO (Astro Ch 411)  or 11pm on HBO HD (Astro Ch 431).
With Amelia and her friends.
