Product Review: REDKEN Time Reset Shampoo and Conditioner - Corrective Care for Porous & Age-weakened Hair

Our skin and  hair are the special organs to support our life. Our skin aged and so to our hair. We need haircare to prevent or to combat the signs of aging. REDKEN Time Reset Shampoo and Conditioner are the haircare products specially formulated for porous and age-weakened hair.

I have been using the REDKEN Time Reset Shampoo and Conditioner for about a month and they works well on my fine hair.

REDKEN Time Reset Shampoo gently cleanses to remove impurities and at the same time smoothing the cuticle to help porous, age-weakened hair. It also delivering nourishing lipids to help restore the hair’s natural barrier of protection during hair wash. 

This shampoo helps with my frizz hair problem. As we know, one of the factor for frizz hair is due to the high porosity hair (holes in cuticle). After using this shampoo and its conditioner, my long hair become less frizz and shiner. This shampoo does provide enough moisture to my hair and my hair become softer too! The only thing I don't like about this shampoo is, it's scent. It doesn't has a nice scent like other shampoo.

The REDKEN Time Reset Conditioner has floral scents and this scents is better than the shampoo.

The Curly trend:

Despite the boom in straightening and smoothing technologies such as BKT services and Japanese straightening, many curly women are moving away from blow-drying and are “going natural”. 

Let's learn a little about the Curl Science:

 1.) Curly hair is more fragile

• Curly hair’s twists and turns cause cuticles to lift and weaken, which can leave hair rough. 
• Natural curly hair tends to be more fragile than straight hair. 
• The twist in hair weakens the fiber causing cracks at the tension points.

2.) Curly hair is more prone to frizz

• Natural curly hair is also more prone to developing chronic frizz and unmanageability.
• When curly hair is coarse, this means it’s dry and requires moisture to eliminate and prevent frizz.

3.) Curly hair appears duller
