February was a festive month, Chinese New Year. February also a month romantic months as the Chinese Valentine's Day and the Western Valentine's Day falls into same date. A month full of celebration and ♥ !

I'm very happy! I can run this far! I still can't believe this! Done my 1st longest lsd, 30km (Solaris Dutamas-Hartamas-Double Hills-Solaris Hartamas). A good hill training.

Dragon Back Run 2014.

Glad that I have completed this run and no DNF in between. Lack of training for the past two weeks. Tough route and ran in haze. This is my time wear Brooks PureFlow2 in race. Thanks for those of you who care for me. Thank you.

L’Oreal Professionnel Steamcare Hair Treatment @A Cut Above BSC

I dream to have straight, shiny and healthy looking long hair. However, I'm having dull and slight frizzy long hair. Recently, I was invited to the L’Oreal Professionnel Steamcare hair treatment. I went to experience this 1st powerful steam smoothing system for hair and I am satisfied with this hair treatment. :) In this blog post, I'm gonna share with you the L’Oreal Professionnel Steamcare hair treatment @A Cut Above  Salon, Bangsar Shopping Center.

This was my long hair before the L’Oreal Professionnel Steamcare hair treatment.

This flat iron, the L'Oreal Professionnel’s Steampod - the 1^st steam smoothing system which style & treat hair at the same time. The difference between L'Oreal Professionnel’s Steampod and the classical flat iron is STEAMPOD uses continuous high steam pressure which offer a superior smoothing effect while the classical flat iron uses heat to smoothen and straighten the hair.

Using the STEAMPOD with L’Oreal Professionnel Straight care (X-Tenso Care) platform and the specially designed vapo-activated styling products offer:

• longer lasting smoothing result
• deep reparation
• exceptional smoothnesss
• shine, seal ends and best up to 2x faster service in salon.

There are two services which can be done using the Steampod which is:
1.) The STEAMBOND SERVICE 

• The 1st steam -activated long lasting straightening service with X-Tenso Moisturist and X-Tenso Pro-keratine Care.
• The time of service is about 3 hours vs. 3.5 hours of classical straightening service (depending on hair length).
  

2.) The STEAMCARE SERVICE

• The 1st steam -activated long lasting fibre reparation service with Pro-Keratin Care. This Service can be done for all hair types, or as a follow-up treatment 1 month after Steam bond service. 
• The time of the service is about 1.5 hour (depending on hair length)    

After discussing with the hairstylist, he suggested the STEAMCARE treatment for my frizzy hair and this treatment will take about 1.5 hour.

Let's start with my L’Oreal Professionnel Steamcare hair treatment!

1.) Wash my hair with the X-Tenso Care Nutri-Reconstructor Shampoo.

2.) Apply the X-Tenso Care Nutri-Reconstructor Pre-Treatment on my hair to help protect against damage and follow by X-Tenso Care Nutri-Reconstructor Masque. This hair mask gives long-lasting glossy shine and prevents external damage.

 Leave the hair mask for 15 minutes and then rinsed off.

3.)Styling with Steampod soothing cream and of course with the steampod flat iron.

Lastly, apply the X-Tenso Care Nutri-Reconstructor Serum as finish.

Results:

 1.) Curly hair is more fragile

• Curly hair’s twists and turns cause cuticles to lift and weaken, which can leave hair rough. 
• Natural curly hair tends to be more fragile than straight hair. 
• The twist in hair weakens the fiber causing cracks at the tension points.

2.) Curly hair is more prone to frizz

• Natural curly hair is also more prone to developing chronic frizz and unmanageability.

Although there tends to be a predominant curl pattern, different curl types are usually intermingled throughout a primary curl pattern. The average person with natural curls has an average of 2-4 different types of curls growing on their heads. This increases the challenge in choosing the right product and getting a consistent satisfying result.
