Launch of Fabulous Finds: the 1st Beauty Box in Malaysia

One Saturday afternoon in June, just before I say "Hello" to beautiful July, I was invited to attend the 1st beauty box launch event in Malaysia!

My first Soak-Off Gel Nail Polish Experience @ BMIC Nail Spa Salon

Its BMIC time again! 

In this blog post, I'm gonna share with you my 1st Soak-off Gel Nail Polish experience @BMIC Nail Spa Salon. 

Some of you may be wondering what's Soak-off Gel Nail Polish?

Well, the Soak-off Gel Nail Polish is a nail polish treatment dry under the UV light.

The Soak-off Gel Nail Polish comes in a wide choices of colors. There are so many colors and I was facing the tough moment to choose the colors.

Hmm......

I chose this color, glitter pink!

Here it goes the usual steps for manicure!

Remove my old nail polish.

Cut, shaping, removing dead cuticle and  smoothen nail surface before painting the 3-in-1 gel nail polish.

Look, my clean and neat nails and they are ready to paint with the 3-in-1 gel nail polish!

Benefits of Soak-Off Gel Nail Polish  compare to traditional nail polish:

• fast drying - nail polish dries within minutes under the UV light
• long lasting - it lasts for 2 to 3 weeks
• less damaging to nails

My nails started to paint with glitter pink nail polish!

Paint ---> UV Light Box ---> Dry

Next,  Soak-UV Top Coat was applied onto the dried painted nails.

A special finishing wipe was used to remove the excess on top of nails.

My first Soak-Off Gel Nail Polish treatment at BMIC just took about 40 minutes, inclusive the hand massage session. I love my glitter pink  Soak-Off Gel Nail Polish!

Waxing & Parafin Treatments @ BMIC Nail Spa Salon

What can you do during your lunch hour? Other than having lunch? Let me give you some suggestions. You can go for eyebrows and lips waxing or even a hand parafin treatment to pamper your hands.

About 2 weeks I have not trim my eyebrows and they look messy. Last Wednesday, I decided to go BMIC Nail Spa Salon for the eyebrows waxing and shaping treatments. 

It was my first time get my eyebrows waxed.  It was so easy and save my time. Let's look at the steps involved.

The wax  for my eyebrows waxing.

Apply the warm wax.

Next, a strip was pressed on the top and followed by a quick motion to pull off. The motion was fast and I can't even feel the pain.

The therapist use a eyebrow brush to comb the hair down before eyebrows trimming. 

My right eyebrow look neat and well groomed after the treatment.

I want to give my hands a quick pampering session ~ hand parafin treatments.

Hand parafin treatment is well known for moiturizing ,softening the skin and for good blood circulation in hands. I need this treatment to rehydrate and smoothen my dry hands.

The therapist help me to dip my cleaned and dried hands into wax for a few seconds. A thin layer of dry parafin was formed on my skin. This step was repeated 3 times so that 3 layers of dry parafin form on my hands. My hands were then covered with plastic liner and slip into the mitts for 10 minutes.

I just sit back and relax for 10 minutes. After removing the dry wax, my hands feel soft and smooth. :)

The eyebrows waxing & shaping treatments and hand parafin treatment were done within 40 minutes. :)

Nail Treatment & Pampering Session @ BMIC Nail Spa Salon

I consider myself a frequent visitor to nail salon. I go to nail salon or nail spa for pedicure at least once or twice a month. Why? Simply because I am not good at doing my own nails, I have no time to do a nice pedicure and of course want to pamper myself! :P After my trip, I was busy with work and finally I had a pampering session on last weekends. Guess, where I went for nail treatment and pampering session?

Yes, its BMIC Nail Spa Salon located at Pamper Floor Starhill Gallery Shopping Centre. I had tried their basic manicure last month during the during the "An Awakening of the Five Senses" event. This time I decided to go there for my manicure and pedicure.

Hand pampering session begin! 

Hand spa : By using the rose hand scrub. Its a fine mineral salt scrub with rose extract and essential oil. The fine granules leave my hand smooth and soft after cleansing with warm water. I like the rosy smell too!

Hand massage with OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers Raspberry Violet, its a hand and body lotion. This lotion leave my hands fruity smelling and smooth feeling.

Look at the colorful Stamping Nail Art Designs! They are so nice, can I have all the designs on my nails? While I was busy choosing the Stamping Nail Art Designs, the two professional manicurist and pedicurist were buffing my nails.

The manicurist helped me to remove my old polish with polish remover follow by nail shaping, buffing, cuticle treatment and coloring. I was enjoying the show on the flat screen tv in this cozy nail spa salon.

I chose OPI I Pink I Love You NL H3 on my hand nails. I always like to apply light and sweet color on my hand nails. 

 Pedicure session with cuticle treatment and buffing.

Foot Massage: Scrub with rosy scrub and massage with OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers Raspberry Violet.

Stamping time! Yes, Nail Art Stamping. I chose the butterfly design. White butterfly with pink nail polish.
