Diva with a Heart "A Challenge for Charity"

My new recycled tote bags purchased during the Diva with a Heart "A Challenge for Charity" from Parkson.

Our homegrown department store, Parkson turns 25 in this year and they are doing it in style.

Parkson and Capital FM radio deejays : Asha Gill, Joanne Kam, Xandria Ooi, KK Wong and Linda Onn collaborate and designed environment-friendly recycled bags that are made from recycled water bottles for charity!

Diva with a Heart " A Challenge for Charity" is happening today!

Date: 14 July 2012 (Saturday)

Time: 1pm - 3pm

Venue: Parkson Pavilion, KL.

Come and join Parkson, Capital FM Celebrity Deejays and a group of gorgeous Divas from Capital FM’s Viva La Diva Contest for some fun and in the name of charity.

Help them to sell as many recycled tote bags as possible within 2 hours to raise fund for World Vision's 30-Hour Famine Fund 2012.

The recycled tote bag, retails at RM9.90, and 100% of proceeds from the 2 hours sales on 14th July 2012 sale will be donated to the World Vision Fund.

The XIXILI's GREEN BOSOM, Bra Recycling Buddies Campaign is running from 8th April to 31st May 2011. This campaign hopes to encourage young ladies to bring in used or unwanted bra for recycling instead of disposing it a way when purchasing quality products at any XIXILI store.

Why do we need to recycle our used or unwanted bras?

For charity:

All bras collected will be channeled to the unfortunate and disadvantaged community or to disaster relief centers locally or at the national level.

For Our Mother Earth:

Preservation and prevention are the best efforts to Protect Mother Earth from eroding faster than it should. Organised efforts like this bra recycling are very helpful whereby we give chance for a bra to have 2 product life cycles, thus stretching use and unnecessary early abandonment or disposal.

To give encouragement for this recycling campaign, every bra brought in for recycling, XIXILI will give out a RM10 rebate for a new bra. In addition XIXILI will be giving away a complimentary Protect Mother Earth bad and biodegradable cutlery by JASA Eco with every purchase above RM100.

April is the Earth Month and we celebrate Earth Day on 22 April. Have you do your part to give back to our Mother Earth? XIXILI Intima has done their part by launching its Green Bosom Bra Recycling Campaign and revealed their brand ambassador.
