‘Joyful Christmas’ 2011 @Sunway Pyramid

Christmas is just a day to arrive! Let me share with you a beautiful Sunway Pyramid's Christmas story, ‘A Joyful Christmas’ .

The story of ‘A Joyful Christmas’ unleashes in an official launch of Joyful Christmas 2011 @Sunway Pyramid.

Storybook characters walked out of the pages of a gigantic storybook to the Pyramid Concourse, wandering around a magical winter forest made out of tall, brightly lit Christmas trees, a cabin and a sleigh. Reindeers are scattered, looking for food while they wait.

In the story of ‘A Joyful Christmas’ they are waiting for a robin that will bring news of the arrival of Christmas. This story begins in a sleepy town before clocks and chimes were invented and people told time by looking at the sky. Therefore, the people were waiting to see a robin and when they do see one, they will know that Christmas is coming and start preparing for Christmas. This is how robins become a symbol of Christmas.

In the launch of Joyful Christmas 2011 @Sunway Pyramid, a bird, representing the robin, plays the role of Christmas messenger.

"This year, we bring in the concept of a Joyful Christmas because we want to invite our shoppers to be part of our Christmas story which is why we invited the children from two underprivileged homes to have a memorable Christmas with us. We also partnered with the Malaysian Red Crescent society (MRCS) in a fund raising campaign to help Thai flood victims. These are some of the Corporate Social Responsibility projects we initiate this Christmas, " says Mr HC Chan, Chief Executive Officer, Sunway Pyramid in his welcome speech.

It's sad to say Goodbye to ~Vichy Malaysia~

 I'm sad to say "Goodbye to Vichy products." 

I knew about Vichy will be discontinued  in Malaysia about a week ago from the Vichy promoter. I was told that all the Vichy products in pharmacies Malaysia will be gone by Dec 2011. However, I just found out from MyWomenStuff, all the Vichy products will be gone by March 2012.  Whatever issit, Vichy will no longer in Malaysia by March next year! 

I started to use Vichy products in year 2007. I think that was the year Vichy products brought into Malaysia by L'Oréal Malaysia. NormaDerm Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care was my 1st Vichy product I purchased from Watsons 1U. Yes, I can remember this because after my 1st purchased, I became their loyal customers. The look of  Vichy NormaDerm Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care has changed from 2007 to 2011.

Besides using the Vichy NormaDerm Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Car, the Aqualia Thermal Fix Mat (2007) and later the Aqualia Thermal Mat also one of my favorite moisturizer.

So, to all the Vichy fans/users, you are advisable to buy the products before they are gone! Currently,  most of the Vichy products have "Buy 1 FREE 1" promotions at Guardian, Watsons, Caring, AA, Citycare, Jusco Wellness and Vitacare pharmacies, WHILE STOCK LAST!

I have try almost all their products except for the anti-aging range, Vichy LiftActiv. The NormaDerm range still my favorite range!  

For those of you who have Vichy VIP membership, unfortunately you cannot redeem your gift anymore. :( So, in future I'll have to purchase Vichy products from Singapore or online.

This time we went to the Rockport 1 Utama Concept Store to check out their latest collection: Janae Pump.

When I walk into the Rockport Concept Stores, I saw the latest Iconic Pump Collection. It's a cozy concept store with stylish, comfortable footwear for men and women.
