Chicago Rib House @1Utama

Few days before Christmas, I was invited  to try  the brand new menu  at Chicago Rib House, 1 Utama Shopping Centre with a bunch of bloggers.

Chicago Rib House, a new restaurant in 1 Utama Shopping Centre. The first Chicago Rib House was opened in Penang.

Three’s a company when you’ve got Hot Buffalo Wings, Potato Skins and Pork Chili Corn Carne. It’s matched with homemade Salsa dressing to really get you started.

Pork Chili Corn Carne, the minced pork cooked with onions, peppers and spices topped with mixed cheese and it served with corn chips.

I love the Potato Skins & Hott Buffalo Wings. Especially the Potato Skins, I just can't stop eating them. ^-^  Pork Chili Corn Carne is just too spicy for me. FYI, I can't take spicy food :(

After having the starter, let's start our Main entress!

Secret sauce that’s fired up with a shot of whiskey that will light your taste buds. It’s available in half rack and full rack.

Full Rack Pork Rib - Original flavor, RM53.90.

Chicago's Pork Rib - Original flavor taste a little too sweet for me. I prefer the whiskey flavor pork rib than the Original flavor.

This dish served in two grilled boneless chicken breast topped with signature bourbon sauce and sprinkled with mixed cheese.

8oz. Pork Tenderloin, RM32.90

8oz. Pork Tenderloin grilled to pork-fection and served with homemade Apple Cinnamon sauce.

Hickory  BBQ Bacon Burger, RM29.90

 A juicy pork burger loaded with Hickory BBQ sauce, topped with crispy bacon and cheese. Temptation has never tasted this good. 

It's time for us to share this delicious pork burger with our buddies! It's just too full to have the whole for myself!

Grand Finale of Asia Model Festival Awards New Face Model Search - Malaysia 2011

Remember my previous blog post for the Press Conference Asia Model Festival Awards New Face Model Search (ANFMS) - Malaysia 2011? 

After over a month of live auditions, makeover session, personal training by supermodel Amber Chia & catwalk guru Benjamin Toong, photo shoot challenges, various boot camp and take on the runway at Malaysia International Fashion Week (MIFW), on 28 November 2011, it was the grand finale for all the finalists!

Everyone  *SMILES* to celebrate the successful of  Asia Model Festival Awards New Face Model Search - Malaysia 2011 (AMFA) @Zouk KL.

All 14 finalists impressed the judges and audiences by displaying three different runway walks worthy of professional models. 

The finale fashion  show kicked off with male finalists paraded beach wear by Roxy.

Followed by the female finalists paraded beach wear by Quiksilver.

 Next, the casual wear by Salabianca and Philosophy Men.

 Finally, a battle of couture wear by Amir Luqman for the female finalists.

The highly entertaining grand finale also featured explosive performances by beat boxer extraordinaire Koujee, the winner of the Malaysia Tag-Team Beat Box Battle 2011, together with remarkable singer Alexis Chean, the 2008 champion of the Astro Star Quest singing competition.

All the finalists are waiting for the judges to announce the results: One female & one male winner, together with their respective runners-up, will get the honour to represent Malaysia for next year's annual Asia New Face Model Search in Seoul, Korea.

Congratulations to:

Kurt Chin Ke Liang , Male Runner-up for Asia Model Festival Awards New Face Model Search – Malaysia 2011. Chin, he is 18 years of age and 184cm in height. This freelance model, who is looking into becoming a property agent, displayed a confident and convincing performance on his journey to becoming the male runner-up.

Kao Yu Lin, Female Runner-up for Asia Model Festival Awards New Face Model Search – Malaysia 2011. Kao, 21, with her oriental good looks, exuded high fashion on the runway. This Johore lass also stands at 176cm, and is currently studying business administration.

Both of them, has gotten the honour of representing Malaysia next year in Seoul, Korea, to participate in the annual Asia New Face Model Search.

Soo Xu Ze, Male winner for Asia Model Festival Awards New Face Model Search – Malaysia 2011. Soo, who is a 20 year old student of logistics and supply chain management, charmingly won over the judges with his smouldering good looks and 186cm tall frame.

 Wafa Johanna de Korte, Female winner for Asia Model Festival Awards New Face Model Search – Malaysia 2011. Standing at 176cm in height, De Korte wowed everyone with exotic looks courtesy of her Malay and Dutch parentage, and stood out like a runway veteran despite being just 17 years of age.

Both De Korte and Soo will also be gracing the covers of leading entertainment and lifestyle magazine FACES, and myc! – the largest inter-university lifestyle magazine. More than that, both winners will walked away from the grand finale with prizes worth over RM100, 000 each.
