Estee Lauder & CHI Fitness 'GET FIT AND GO PINK' Event

As everyone knows, October is a PINK month - Breast Cancer Awareness month. Estee Lauder Group of Companies Malaysia has collaboration with CHI Fitness, Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) to organize a special pink ribbon event,'GET FIT AND GO PINK' on 27 September 2011. This is just another exciting programme under the Estee Lauder Campanies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. I have been supporting the Estee Lauder Campanies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign since two years ago before I started blogging. This year, I am getting more excited to the  exciting programmes that are lining-up in this October.

'GET FIT AND GO PINK' was an all day event  at CHI Fitness, BSC for the public to enjoy 3 special classes - SH'BAM, Yoga  and TRX. Guess what class I join on that day? :P

SH'BAM, a dance-based workout featuring hot dance moves and chart-topping popular hits. Look, the public who joins this class enjoy their hot dance!

Yoga, the calming and relaxing class. Yoga is also good for toning, flexibility and detoxification.

TRX Suspension Training is a leveraged body-weight exercise. Developed by Fitness Anywhere from training methods used by U.S. Navy SEALS. This training builds power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility and prevent injuries.

Yes, I joined the TRX class! It was quite tough for me as this was my first time attending such an intensive training.  Rodney Bailey, our TRX trainer was coaching me patiently during the class.

Alright, I think this is the best photo I took in the TRX class. This class made me sweat a lot during the 45 minutes training. I had a good sweat though! :D

Of course, I will grab this opportunity to take a photo with Jaclyn Victor! :)

I spotted a mini-makeover station in this event. Estee Lauder Professional Makeup Artists was there on standby to provide a quick mini-makeover/refresher for ladies participating in the class. 

The limited edition Pink Ribbon shopping tote comes in two colours and the PINK Shopping Passport. A PINK Shopping Passport is priced at just RM50 and comes with a limited edition Pink Ribbon shopping tote . All proceeds from the sale of the shopping passport will go to the Estee Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign fund.

I bought my PINK Shopping Passport and comes with a limited edition Pink Ribbon shopping tote. 

In addition, CHI Fitness, BSC will also donate a percentage of all collected new membership fees in the month of October 2011 to Estee Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign fund. The Estee Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign fund supports the:

• Breast Cancer Welfare Association
• The College of Radiology Malaysia
• The National Cancer Society Malaysia
• Cancer Research Initiatives Foundation

Mark your date on October 14, 2011 as on that day you'll see Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Bukit Bintang, KL Tower and Sultan Abdul Samad Building being bathed in PINK, as part of  the Global Landmarks Illumination initiative.
