Product Review: StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster Serum

I always want to have more youthful radiance skin with less sun spots, dark spots and age spots! I'll use many ways to prevent and to "minimize" the cause of my spots, whether it’s:
  • sun damage OR
  • the natural aging process, hyperpigmentation occurs when the melanocytes in skin go awry, and transfer too much pigment to the keratinocytes.

The 30ml (1.7 oz) StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster Serum comes in a convenient and hygienic pump dispenser packaging. With its pump dispencer, make it easy to control the amount to be used in each application.

Key Ingredients:
  • Proprietary NIA-114™ (niacin, in the form of Nicotinic Acid) targets the triggers that cause hyperpigmentation by normalizing the transfer of pigments, and rebuilding skin health so you can hold onto new radiance. 
  • Natural Tyrosinase Inhibitors, Vitamin C and Synovea® Skin Brightener (hexylresorcinol), help to regulate melanin formation, which is the source of dark spots, sun spots and age spots. 
  • Vitamin C (stable ascorbyl glucoside) diminishes melanin production, reduces existing melanin, stimulates collagen and acts as a strong antioxidant. 
  • Willowbark Extract, a natural form of salicylic acid, generates cell turnover to shed pigmented cells and improve skin texture.  
  • Betaine, from Sugar Beet, a natural skin softener, minimizes transepidermal water loss (TEWL) for an overall smoother, healthier-looking complexion.
  • Pomegranate Extract, a powerful antioxidant, aids in enhancing cell turnover.
This product claims that can achieve the following results:

The StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster Serum has light and milky texture. This make it easy and quick to absorb when I apply it on my face after toner and before I continue with my moisturizer. Of course, I apply suncreen after my moiturizer in day time.
I usually use 1-1.5 pumps for each application, smooth over entire face and massage into skin. I usually massage more on targeted areas (brown spots and scars areas). Immediately my skin looks a little brighten! This  due to the ability of my skin to reflect light (StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster Serum boost my skin ability to reflect light) and it shows the brightening luminosity!

The skin analysis results I received after my 14 days of using the StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster Serum are shown as below:
The biggest improvement was my skin evenness. My skin evenness from "Intensive care needed" category has improved to "ok" category! I was like "WOW!"when I see this results! :) 
Moisture level has also shown an improvement from "Intensive care needed" category to "ok" category. Pores and oiliness also show an improvement after 2 weeks of using this product!

Overall, my skin looks brighter and radiant. Improve evenness of my skin tone. Lighten my newly formed acne scars on my forehead. I noticed my brown spot near to my left eye has slightly lighten up but it's hard to capture with my camera.

This StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster Serum is a light and non-greasy serum. It's non-comedogenic and paraben-free. I'll continue to use this serum and I have confidence my other brown spots will become visibly lighten after 8 weeks of applications. :)

I am using it in day time after my daily skincare routine, basically its is a tinted sunscreen. This product absorbs quickly into my skin and give me an instant translucent look and my pores size has become less visible. One thing I like about this product is no heavy feeling or feel sticky after my application. This product comes in one universal shade, which means one shade for all ages and all skin types. It also helps to correct skin tone and boosting my skin's moisture. I usually apply my two-way cake pressed-powder or just dab on some loose powder. The Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation SPF 30 does help my makeup to last longer. My face is less shine in day time.
One thing you are recommended to follow when applying this product, apply the Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation SPF 30 evenly in gentle circular motions. This helps to blend well.

The Official Launching of Impiana KLCC Hotel's Club Tower

21st May 2012, was a meaningful day for Impiana KLCC Hotel. Member of medias and bloggers were invited to the official launching of this leading four-star business class hotel.  
On this a sunny afternoon, Impiana KLCC Hotel's new Club Tower was officiated  was officially launched by Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Ahmad Fuad, Mayor of Kuala Lumpur and witnessed by Encik Hashim Wahir, CEO of KLCC Property Holdings Berhad and Dato’ Seri farouk Abdullah, Chairman of Impiana Hotels and Resorts Management Sdn Bhd.

The Official Launch of MATRIX - the US No.1 Professional Hair Care In Malaysia

I was invited to attend this amazing launch party! L’Oreal Malaysia has transforming the event venue: Neverland @ Jalan Kia Peng, into a world of Matrix – fully equipped with a 11 foot Matrix photowall and its very own ‘Matrix’ statue of liberty.

This launch party received an overwhelming response 1200 attendees, all of which included Matrix’s official distributors: Hairizon and New & Modern, members of the media, renowned celebrities and of course, participants from the hair trade.

The first segment of the show, IMAGINE – featured celebrity model Amber Chia as an Angel with avant garde hair in the Garden of Eden backdrop.
The highlight of the evening was none other than the amazing Matrix hairshow; brought to life by Matrix’s very own Global Artist Ambassador: Ammon Carver
Ammon Carver, Matrix’s renowned artistic director is based in New York.  
Being with Matrix for 7 years has given him an outstanding list of credentials that include but are not limited to: Vanity Fair, Vogue, Seventeen, Marie Claire;
and his celebrity clientele includes A-listers such as Kate Beckinsale, Amanda Seyfried, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Biel, Lisa Kudrow and many more.
The second segment of the show, COLLECTION, displayed the artist’s interpretation of Matrix’s collection looks.
The third segment, named INSPIRATION was a theatrical performance by duo Ammon Carver with his muse, Carmen Koh – while dancers acted as props on stage to give Ammon the hair pieces.
Ammon Carver, alongside his fantastic line-up of models wowed the audience with an amazing show that personified Matrix’s tagline of “IMAGINE ALL YOU CAN BE”.
Finally, the grand finale CELEBRATION, showcased Ammon’s interpretation of commercial and high-fashion hair with live styling demo.
