L’Oréal Paris is preparing to celebrate 15 years of partnership with the Cannes Festival in its role as Official Makeup Artist. To mark the occasion the world leading beauty group has drawn its inspiration from "L'Or Electric", a make-up collection created especially for the occasion, to create a programme of exclusive events. This "Cannes Electric" edition of the festival will include some 35 L'Oréal Paris spokespeople, who will join in the celebration for this exciting anniversary.
Each day, nearly 30 of L’Oréal Paris’ make-up artists will help create the looks worn by the brand’s ambassadors, Festival personalities and members of the jury. The Official Make-up Artist to the Festival has also brought together :
- a team of Beauty Artists. Colourist Christophe Robin,
- expert hairdressers John Nollet and Stéphane Lancien
- make-up artists Karim Rahman and Billy B,
- Joëlle Ciocco – L’Oréal Paris’ Global Facialist -
- Tom Bachik, manicurist to the stars,
They will be working hard at L’Oréal Paris’ suite in the Hotel Martinez. They will contribute their expertise and inspiration to the looks created during the Festival.
On 20 May 2012,
Cheryl Cole received the L’Oréal Paris touch, wearing the L’Or Electric collection. The members of the jury also turned to L’Oréal Paris for its make-up expertise.
