Today, 17 May 2012, let's welcome the arrival of the first ever BREWFEST 2012!

The aroma of delicatessens, fragrant hops and the cries of ‘Cheers! Prost! Gan Bei! Skaal! Kampai!’ herald the arrival of the first ever BREWFEST 2012! 

Happening from 17 to 19 May 2012, merry beer fans, tourists and city dwellers are invited to sing, dance, taste and toast to a myriad of premium and craft beers gathered from around the world at Publika, Solaris Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur.

BREWFEST 2012 promises not only an excellent gastronomical journey but a series of exciting activities for the young and young at heart. No festival is complete without live performances, games, contests and music, which the organisers of BREWFEST 2012 has put together to entertain visitors.

Expect to get on your feet with “The Union” with the best of 80s Rock hits and live performances throughout the weekend.

Stand Up Comedy by established local comedian, Douglas Lim.

Local celebrity DJs to pump up the scene with  eclectic beats. 

Adding to the fun are a number of drinking contests and beer games, which are sure to stir things up. Get ready to challenge yourself with “Guess The Beer” contest and knock yourself out with an electronic Bull Ride!  Perhaps it is time to start honing the skills to win the crowd favorite Beer Pong Challenge. Limited edition BREWFEST 2012 T-Shirts produced by Salty Customs are also up for grabs at great prices. 

Do look out for the GLAMMBOX, a cinematic, experiential photo booth that creates magazine quality images of people with customized backgrounds where you get to capture candid moments with your friends.

BREWFEST 2012 opens to public:

• From 5:30pm to 1:00am on 17 May 2012

• From 5:00pm to 1:00am on 18 and 19 May 2012.

 Admission is:

• RM 58 for Day 1 (17 May 2012) inclusive of one premium beer 
• RM68 each day for Day 2 (18 May 2012) & Day 3 (19 May 2012) inclusive of two free beers.

All access pass for three full days is priced at RM128 inclusive of two beers per day.

Only non-muslim adults above 18 years of age are allowed. Visitors will receive ticket stubs and  identifiable wrist straps for admission.
