SHELL HELIX “CAN YOU HANDLE THE EXTREME?”

In year 2011, 5 lucky SHELL HELIX  users who joined the Shell Helix Ferrari World Contest has won a trip to the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.

In the following year, 2012, another 5 lucky SHELL HELIX users has won a VIP trip to Italy through the Shell Helix ‘Get Your Heart Racing’ contest.

This year, 2013, who will the 5 lucky SHELL HELIX users to win an all-expense paid 5-day 4-night VIP trip to South Africa? 

Shell Helix is embarking on the “Can You Handle the Extreme?” roadshow to 17 locations across Peninsula Malaysia to ramp up interest in the 2013 edition of its global promotion.

The “Can You Handle the Extreme?” roadshow, featuring three units of Nissan Navara pickup trucks in striking Shell Helix livery sponsored by Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd, will be visiting selected auto workshops and shopping malls in several states from now till end of May.

At each location, members of the public can take part in Facebook games and a mini off-road challenge featuring a radio-controlled 4X4 vehicle to win attractive prizes and cash rebate vouchers valid for purchase of Shell Helix engine oils.

 I won a water tumbler after completing the radio-controlled 4X4 challenge.

With each purchase of a 4-litre pack of Shell Helix Ultra, HX7, HX7 E or HX7 Diesel, the customer can also vie for one of the five Grand Prizes in the Shell Helix “Can You Handle the Extreme?” consumer contest that is running from March 1 to May 31, 2013.

The five lucky Grand Prize winners will win an all-expense paid 5-day 4-night VIP trip to South Africa. The highlight of the trip is the opportunity to take part in the Shell Helix Driven to Extremes World Championship.  The two-day competition comprises an extreme off-road challenge in the shadow of Cape Town’s famous Table Mountain and an exciting navigation challenge through the African bush. 

“The recent Discovery Channel Shell Helix Driven to Extremes series showcased the extraordinary performance of Shell Helix engine oils in various extreme conditions that included extreme cold, searing heat and some of the roughest terrains. The trip to South Africa is also a step into the wild side, especially with an exciting off-road experience awaiting.  The radio-controlled 4X4 vehicle challenge at this roadshow is less extreme but more fun!” he said.
