Mobile Product Review: Maybelline CLEAR SMOOTH EXTRA Shine Free Powder Foundation

I purchased this Maybelline CLEAR SMOOTH EXTRA Shine Free Powder Foundation (CO3, Natural) from one of the Maybelline roadshow at Mid Valley. The reason I bought this powder foundation was because of this tagline "Perfect Oil Control & Matte Finish all day." I have been looking for a oil control and matte finish powder foundation yet at an affordable price since I was in university. This tag line caught my attention and I bought it home! :) 

I used it alone, with makeup base or BB base. I usually use this powder foundation with makeup base or BB base if I want a full coverage for my face and want my makeup to stay from morning to evening. I found this powder foundation has sweat resistant function. When I was running from one event to another event, during hot days, my face tend to sweat. I notice my foundation still stay on my face after I dab off my sweats with facial tissue. From the packaging, it stated " Micro-fine powder give absorbancy, resist sweat, heat and humidity." I get matte finish and my face is shine-free for up to about 6 hours. This due to its oil-absorbing ingredients and micro-fine powder. 

I am using CO3, its a Natural shade. One plus point for this powder foundation is it came with SPF 20/PA+++. This can prevent skin from harmful UVA & UVB. But SPF 20/PA +++ still not enough, so is advisable to apply sunblock before your makeup base or powder foundation. 

I cannot remember the exact price for Maybelline CLEAR SMOOTH EXTRA Shine Free Powder Foundation. I think you can get this powder foundation at a price of below RM30 in all leading pharmacies or department stores. Its worth to have one if you are looking for affordable and matte finish powder foundation.
