Ranging from retro glamour to futuristic beauty, her creations were photographed by Kenneth Willardt, who was inspired by "confident women, brave inventors and revolutionary innovations" that impacted the history of Maybelline New York.
 

One of the highlighted looks (the 1st picture in this blog post) created by Charlotte Willer featured dark eyeshadows and eyeliners, thin but strong eye brows and rich red lips inspired by Charleston makeup in the 20s.

Review: Maybelline White Superfresh Cake Powder SPF34 PA+++

I'm staying in a hot and humid country where sweat and sebum are always my "enemies" when I applying my makeup. I want to look fair, fresh and long lasting UV protection to my face. I'm traveling quite frequently during my working days and weekends with busy schedule. A convenient compact powder that long lasting and without having to touch up constantly is what I'm looking for.

I'm using #03 Natural shade and this is a suitable shade for my skin.The Maybelline White Superfresh Cake Powder SPF34 PA+++ comes in a rectangular shape casing with a mirror and sponge like most of the cake powder.

Let's take a closer look at the cake powder...It has quite a fine and matte texture. 

The Maybelline White Superfresh Cake Powder SPF34 PA+++ has light to medium coverage. My skin instantly turn fairer and matte after first application.

Fairer skin, quite an even finish, matte look and medium coverage. The plus point is the SPF34 PA+++ UV protection. The Maybelline White Superfresh Cake Powder SPF34 PA+++ is an affordable compact powder with the latest cake powder breakthrough from Maybelline New York. I only reapply the powder once after about 8 hours. However, my T-zone always become oily after about 2-3 hours. With the Maybelline White Superfresh Cake Powder SPF34 PA+++, my T-zone seems to look less oily with longer hours.

 I was surprised to see the #415 Plum-Tastic that looks a bit dark in the photos turns out to be a bright and sweet colour on my lips! :) Of course, the #625 Are You red-Dy is always the outstanding and seductive colour on my lips. They are moisturizing and the color also stay long on my lips. I notice this range of lipstick also give a fuller dimension for my lips, what do think? :)

Product Review: Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom Lip Balm

For those who know me, I seldom use lipstick or lip gloss. I use lip balm everyday. I have sensitive lip and I had tried many lip balm but most of them cause my lip itch and swollen. When I was given the Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom, Pink Blossom and Peach Blossom lip balms for review, I was kind of worry this two lip balms did not suit my sensitive lip.

I have been using the Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom lip balms for about 2 months and I am happy with this lip balm. :)

Usually, I glide over my lip for two to three times for achieving the darker colour of pink. Do not glide over your lip too many times if you just want a sweet pinkish hue.
