Cosmetics Pop-Up Store in the World had officially launched in Malaysia.
A journey of a thousand miles (to be a global
leader) begins with a single step. The
Lovely Korea Beauty Premium had its official opening at KL Festival City Mall,
Setapak, Malaysia, marking its single step as the First Korean
Cosmetics Pop-Up Store in the World.
The Lovely Korea Beauty Premium is a pop-up store
run by the South Korean government. This project is hosted by Ministry of
health and Welfare (MOHW), organized by Korea health Industry Development
Institute (KHIDI) and managed by THE SOPS Seoul of VOV Hair & Beauty Sdn. Bhd.
This store is a new concept designed to promote
exports of the country’s cosmetic industry and the country’s top cosmetic
products developed using sophisticated
technology and quality assurance of South Korean manufactures.
The store also
supports display and sales of the country’s cosmetics as well as a
buyer-matching program.With its doors
opened to public, customers are privileged to have hands-on experience to the 12
South Korean cosmetics companies in a comfortable and luxurious atmosphere.

General of KHIDI ASEAN welcomed the
distinguished guest with excitement, he said, “With the efforts of South Korean government, the main objective of Beauty Premium is to promote, the
exemplary quality of South Korean beauty
products made by dedicated small and medium-sized
cosmetic companies in the country. As
an astounding result, we bring you12
highquality South Korea Cosmetic brands to Malaysia. We are pleased to announce that these 12
companies are Atotherapy, Beauty Club RED, HANBUL Cosmetics, HBMIC, IMINE,
KENNEDY & KENNEDY, Kolmar Korea, NeoPharm Co. Ltd, SkinCure, Inc., UCL,
WEME INTERNATIONAL, and Zero to Seven Inc. We are sure that customers will be
satisfied and happy with the carefully selected brands we have chosen.”
Jeff Ooi, Member of Parliament for Jelutong,
Malaysia also congratulated the boost of sales in Korean cosmetic products and
said, “Being the
first host country of Beauty Premium, which is a Korean government project of
cosmetics industry, is important for us. This will be an opportunity to
collaborate with Korea and would facilitate to expand health care industry
including medical devices and medical services as well”.
Yoon Huei-Ro, Regional Director General
for Asia and CEO of Korea Trade Center Singapore congratulated the opening of
The Lovely Korea Beauty Premium and said “I hope Beauty Premium stimulates exports
of Korean cosmetics to Malaysia and strengthening Korean cosmetic industry with
more Korean cosmetic companies entering ASEAN markets”.
