Victorinox Swiss Army Officer's Collection : Heritage in its present-day form

Victorinox Swiss Army unites tradition and modernity by combining, for the very first time in an exceptional set, a reinterpretation of the famous Officer’s watch with the Swiss Army knife that has forged the brand’s reputation.

The new Officer’s watch, which is an extension of the existing collection, owes its name to the first knives that were given to officers of the Swiss Army from 1891 onwards. As a reminder, the original guilloche, first used in 1961, features in the center of the dial.
With regard to the previous version, the watch’s character has been reinforced by a new design that fully preserves the original model's understated elegance.
  • Quality, masculinity, harmony and refinement characterize this timepiece.
  • Its curved lines evoke the rounded contours of the Swiss Army knife.
  • Available in a palette of silver white, medium gray and anthracite gray, the colors have been softened to imbue the watch with a delicate and nuanced radiance.
The Officer’s watch is available in three versions:
1.) Mechanical (40 mm dial)
Model: VW241547
2.) Large (quartz movement, 40 mm dial)
Model: VW241549
3.) Chronograph (quartz movement, 42 mm dial).
 Model: VW241554
In the mechanical version, the dial unites the classicism of its guilloché design with the graphic modernity of its date window. The elongated form in which the dial is nestled purposefully recalls the shape of the knife. Featuring a brushed finish, the dial’s border creates a striking contrast with the clarity of the Arabic numerals. The luminescent markers positioned around the dial ensure optimal readability. In a nod to classic watchmaking models, the seconds hand of the mechanical version has been tinted blue to highlight the fluidity of the movement. The lightly grained leather strap has been integrated into the case to give the watch a natural and contemporary look while extending its naturally harmonious shapes. A metallic version featuring a subtle alternation of brushed and polished finishes is also available.

The Swiss Army knife accompanying the Officer’s watch has been specially created in two exclusive colors that have never been produced before: medium gray and anthracite gray, to match the timepiece. Sharing the same source of inspiration, both the watch and the knife symbolize the union between the history of Victorinox and its contemporary interpretations.

Great post! Just wonder, do you have the actual watch name or maybe model number for this watch? (e.g. Victorinox Swiss Army Infantry Vintage Mechanical (Chronograph)).
